I trained twice, because people don't arrive in categories.
A counsellor works with what hurts. A coach works with what's next. Most of the people I see need both — sometimes in the same sixty minutes — and I got tired of sending them to two different offices.

Four words I keep coming back to
Not a framework I bought. Just the order I've watched things happen in, over and over, in this chair.
Loved
Nothing else holds without this one. Most people arrive able to list what they've achieved and unable to say who they matter to — and the second list is the one that keeps you standing.
Integrated
The parts of you that don't agree — the one who wants out and the one who won't leave — aren't a defect. They're a negotiation nobody chaired. This is the work I do most.
Connected
Repair, not perfection. Couples don't come apart from conflict; they come apart from unrepaired conflict. Learning to find your way back is a skill, not a personality trait.
Perform
Last on purpose. Performance built on the other three is durable. Performance built instead of them costs you something you won't notice until it's gone.

In the room
Direct, warm, and unwilling to waste your money.
I ask a lot of questions, and I'll tell you what I actually think — gently, but I'll tell you. I'm trauma-informed, which in practice means we go where you decide to go and nothing gets forced open. I pay attention to what your body is doing as much as what you're saying.
I draw on attachment work — how your earliest relationships taught you to connect, and what that still costs you — but you won't hear that name in session. You'll just notice we keep landing somewhere useful.
And if I'm not the right person for what you're carrying, I'll say so in the first fifteen minutes and help you find who is. That's not a disclaimer — it's the most useful thing I can do for some people.

What a list like this doesn't say: I'm always learning and growing in this work myself — and I have people I talk to, too. I'd be wary of anyone in this chair who didn't.
The practice
I'm no longer the only person here.
I bring people in when they're better at something than I am. Each of them speaks for themselves on their own page — and you can book with any of us directly.
Book the free fifteen minutes with whoever feels like the right fit. And if you're not sure who to ask for, start with me — helping you land with the right person is part of what the call is for.
Meet the teamWhat it costs
Here rather than buried in a booking flow, because you shouldn't have to start one to find out.
Many extended health plans cover a Canadian Certified Counsellor — worth a call to your provider before we start. Coaching is often claimable as professional development.
